Baptismal Interview

Mornin everyone!!

This past week has been amazing! Nneka had her baptismal interview on Saturday and she passed!!! So she will be baptised on Saturday, March 19th at 6:30pm and she has asked me to baptise her!!! Ahhhhh, I'm so excited :) This is such a great blessing from the Lord. Elder Smith will be confirming her on Sunday during Sacrament Meeting. Its gonna be fun to say her full name because she has 2 middle names and pretty much every one of her names, all 4, are Nigerian! So it will be fun :)

We had a cool blessing when we went and taught Nneka on wednesday. We taught her the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Tithing. She ended up having a friend over who also participated in the lesson. While we were getting ready to leave, her friend started saying that she wanted to come to church and thaty she wanted to get baptised as well!! hahah Cool huh?! She didnt come to church yesterday because she was at her dads house, but she and her mom should be coming to Nneka's baptism so that will be brilliant! They will feel the spirit and want to be taught! I have faith that great things will happen at Nneka's baptism.

We had a Zone Meeting this week which was awesome! I definitely felt the spirit strongly. We focused on helping our investigators get to church and helping them understand the importance of it. We had a dicussion on why church is improtant to each of us. No one was raising their hand so I decided to raise mine. All I said was that Sunday is the most important day to me because I get to partake of the sacrament. I stated that it kills me to see and hear people just not care about church anymore. When I said those words, I was overwhelmed with the Spirit. I dont know why, but it was nice. It felt good to be filled with my Savior's love. I just wish everyone that I talk to on the street could feel these same feelings and just go to church!!!

Another cool thing that happened this week is that one of the other missionaries that is in Wolverhampton had a dream about a family getting baptised in our area. He saw the name of the street and it turns out that its in my area!! So this next week we will be on the hunt for this family! haha

So I will end this email by giving two spiritual thougths, one funny and one serious. So does everyone know the Mormon.org adverts for the new profiles you can make? Well its kinda funny how at the end the person states their name and says, "And I'm a Mormon." Captain Moroni kinda does the same this in Alma 54:14. I busted out laughing when i read this scripture hahaha If nobody else finds this funny, then I guess I'm just weird haha
Anywaysss...so quick spiritual thought. Alma 47 is a great chapter and it warns us about how Satan can and will tempt us. If yall read this chapter, ponder on the ways that Amalickiah leads Lehounti from off the mount Antipas, then liken it to yourselves in todays world. I know you will receive the same revelations that I received about bad movies/music, the word of wisdom, law of chastity, pornography and other such ways that Satan can lead us astray.

I want to encourage everyone to use their faith this week and look for opportunities that they can serve their fellow men. I promise you will receive great blesings for doing so!
Take care everyone.
