Chapel Reopening!!

Bora da! (Good Morning!)

So this past week was the best week ever!!! Elder Cadwallader and I did work. This one day we went tracting and gave out 4 copies of the Book of Mormon out! Two of those were simultaneous doors! We had a lot of sit-down lessons this week as well. One experience that we had on the day that I previously mentioned is stuck in my head right now. Okay, so we ask people all the time if we can help them carry bags or do yard work or anything, but we always get rejected. As we were speeding down this hill, we saw this older lady carrying grocery bags. The thought came into my head, oh she will probably reject us anyways so whats the point of stopping. But, we stopped and asked her and to our surprise she accpeted out help!! She was very thankful that someone had finally offered to help her. Even though her flat wasnt too much further up the road, we were able to give service to someone. After reaching her flat, we explained who we were and she accepted a Book of Mormon as well! It was awesome. We are going to see her this tuesday.

Another reason why this week was the best; our chapel opened back up!! It felt so good to be in our own chapel. The members were so excited to be in there as well. We were able to get three investigators and four less-actives to church yesterday. It was such a great blessing from the Lord. Now that church is more easily accesible now, we have a better chance of getting people to church and onward to become progressing. We have this one investigator who has been investigating the church for a while. We had been visiting her alot this week teaching her about the Holy Ghost and how we can recognize its presense. I know that she has felt the Holy Ghost before, i sure felt it during one lesson. She has had a baptismal date once before, but a lot of things came up in her life around that date so she never got too close to being baptised. During one of the lessons, I felt something so powerful to committ her to a new baptismal date, and Elder Cadwallader felt the same thing. We never did because her situation is somewhat difficult; she needs time. But after talking it over with Elder Cadwallader and her fellowshipper, we are going to be bold and follow the promtings of the spirit and committ her this week to a date. So exciting!!

Spiritual thought for this week goes along with the previous two stories. We need to always follow the promtings of the spirit no matter what. We have been given that gift from God and we should use it. If we are prompted to do good, it is of God and of the Spirit. We should always look to do good. Always pray for missionary experiences each day, for if you do I know you will be richly blessed. I hope you all have a great week and I challenge you all to look for a spiritual/missionary experience this week. Please tell me what happens!! Tya (Bye in welsh haha).

Love you all,

-Elder Jaquish
