Decoratign the house

Mornin everyone!

I cant believe its already pday again! haha Transfers are the best when you don't get transferred. Which I'm not sure if I mentioned last week or not, but my companion and I are staying together for Christmas! I'm happy about that. I have grown close to Elder Dudley. He is a wonderful missionary and a great friend. It's gonna be fun and a privilege to be the his last companion!

The last few days since Wednesday have been pretty good. We have done a lot of service lately. On Saturday, we spent a while helping some investigators, Ivan and Wendy, put up decorations outside of their house. It was so much fun to be able serve Ivan and spend time getting to know him better. We have been struggling to meet with them and have a solid lesson. We ended our visit with an invitation for us to come back soon and teach them more about the gospel, which they said yes to. I'm excited for that lesson so that we can reestablish out purpose with them and teach them the restored gospel of our Saviour.

We tired to meet with a few other people this week, but it just seems like Satan keeps getting his foot into our friend's lives. Everyone we are teaching seemed to not have time or some kind of situation came up where we couldn't properly teach them. That just means that we have to work harder and punch Satan in the face! haha!

One nice story we had this week is that Sarah Hulse came to church again. Her daughters were supposed to come, who aren't members, but they had to go see their dad instead. But they almost told their dad they were going to church! Which is sweet since they are only 17 and 9 and they want to come to church. The good feeling of the spirit is addictive. We will hopefully be able to invite them this week to be baptised. I think they they say yes, we just need to have them feel the spirit and recognise it.

This week should be very good. We watched the 1st Presidency Christmas devotional last night. I was able to gain a re-dedication to serving my Saviour through the thoughts that the First Presidency had for us. The spirit truly testified to me that the work I am doing is true. And that many more people need to hear it's message of love and hope. I know that this church is true and that God lives. I hope we can all feel the Saviour's love this week and for the weeks to come up to Christmas.

I hope all have a great week and really search for the feelings of the spirit.
Godbless.
-Elder Jaquish
