Top of the mornin to ya everyone!
Sooooooo, this week was good! Well the past week and a half haha This week was transfers; Elder Dudley and I are staying together so you know what that means...I get to kill him!! muahahahaha Well, not in a literal sense. This is his last transfer. But the tricky thing is that he is going home 3 weeks early to go to school, so that leaves me with no companion for the 2nd half of the transfer. My mission president hasn't told us yet what exactly will happen to me, but whatever becomes of me I know its the Lord's will. I'm excited though because that means I'll probably be in a 3-some hahaha I am very grateful though to spend 3 more weeks with Elder Dudley because he is an amazing missionary.
The week was fairly good. The only rubbish part was that we still have yet to get into contact with Wendy. We tried calling her and stopping by her home, but nothin. So gay haha I am more worried that she is okay than that she isn't getting baptised this week. I just want to help her out. We are going to try by today so hopefully we will be blessed to find out whats up.
We have spent a lot of time finding this week, which has been really fun. Its a bonus to have a university in your area! haha I have met people from Australia, China, Taiwan, France, Latvia, Slovakia, and different parts of England all in the space of like two days! Its pretty sweet. Who would thought I'd go on a world tour on my mission! haha We gave out a lot of copies of the Book of Mormon, which has been a great blessing. We met this one kid the other day who has become interested in religion just because of school. He took a Book of Mormon pretty easily and was happy to have us come around to explain more sometime. We gave him our phone number and he gave us his address, that was it. Then we get a text from him like 2 minutes later saying that he just wanted to give us his phone number so we could contact him! haha Elect!
The month of December is like the best opportunity of the year to invite people to listen to a message about the Saviour, to bring someone to church, or just serve the homeless. The Europe Area Presidency has made a challenge to all the wards here to allow the feelings of Christmastime to enter our hearts, and to express our love for Jesus Christ by inviting/bringing some one to church every Sunday in December. Whether it be a nonmember or less-active member it doesn't matter. What matters is the effort you make to help someone during the holiday. I want to extend the same invitation to all who read this email. Look outward instead of inward this Christmas and allow the spirit to work in your life, to bless the lives of others. Also, watch the video on the main page of www.lds.org.uk Its awesome!
Much love. And Godbless,
-Elder Jaquish
